A charity in Rawdon is looking to next season's heritage fashion trend to help relieve the debilitating symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.
A pop-up catwalk will be arriving at Guiseley Methodist Church on Friday 30 September, featuring a brand new range of Harris Tweed clothes from local boutique, TweedandCountry.co.uk, to raise money for the MS Therapy Centre in Rawdon.
Harris Tweed is set to be the autumn/winter's most coveted fabric, and will be adorning designer collections from Mulberry to Phoebe Philo. Now Leeds-based TweedandCountry are adding a Yorkshire twist with a range of Harris Tweed jackets, coats and accessories for men and women, at high-street prices.
Head to Guiseley Methodist Church on Friday 30 September for a preview of the new collection. Tickets are £8.50, including refreshments, and all proceeds will go to support the MS Therapy Centre in Rawdon. You can get tickets on the door, or in advance at Menston Post Office.
See the TweedandCountry website for more details about the event, the MS Therapy Centre, co-organisers Soroptimist International of Aireborough, and the urgent need for MS therapy for which the event is fundraising. You can add the event to your Facebook calendar too.
