North West Leeds police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision near Otley yesterday.

At around 3:30pm a grey Ford Focus estate was travelling on the A660

Leeds road from Otley towards Leeds when it left the road after

negotiating an S-bend.

As a result the car went into a wooded area, colliding with a stone wall.

The 20-year old driver received serious injuries and was taken to LGI by the Air Ambulance.
