Otley is of course part of the Leeds North West constituency, made up of Otley, Adel, Yeadon, Headingley and Weetwood.

Gambling on the General Election result has already started
As the General Election looms - not yet called but required to take place before June 3rd, and probably on May 6th to coincide with various local elections - it's interesting to see that Ladbrookes is already offering odds on the outcome in each constituency, as is William Hill.
Current running at Ladbrookes is LibDems at 4/6 favourites; Conservatives with an outside chance of taking the seat at 7/4; and Labour already dismissed at 6/1.
William Hill has similar but not identical odds, with the LibDems at 8/13; Conservatives at 7/4 again; and Labour also dismissed as 13/2 outsiders.
It's interesting that the bookies are confident enough of the outcome of a General Election that hasn't even been called yet to offer odds on the outcome seat by seat. The question is...do you think they've called it right?
