Otley's parliamentary constituency Leeds North West last night returned long-standing Lib Dem MP Greg Mullholland with a significantly increased majority.

Mr Mullholland's gains of more than 10% almost exactly matched the fall in Labour's vote, with small gains also for UKIP and the BNP at the expense of other minor parties.
